Do You like slam? Do you like Russian slam? Do you like bands like Disfigurement of Flesh and Morphogenetic Malformation? Do you like the killer artwork of Aghy Purakusuma (Gorgatron, Stillbirth), Do you like song titles like “Revival of Ungodly Deformity” or “Evisceration Through the Throat”?  Do you like other Gore House releases by Engutturalment Cephaloslamectomy  and Foetal Juice?

Then you are in luck as the debut effort from this new Russian trio featuring members of the aforementioned Disfigurement of Flesh and Morphogenetic Malformation on Gore House Productions has all the above!

There’s probably not much else to explain, as that opening paragraph has you either buying the album right now or moving on. It’s 32 minutes of no nonsense, insect/ xenomorph looking-ish based guttural, slamming death metal. Like label mates Engutturalment Cephaloslamectomy, it’s not elite level slam like say Katalepsy or this years Korpse album, but is scratches the slam itch pretty well.

There’s a couple of guest performances from Kevin Muller (Soils of Fate) and Kirill Nazarov ( Disfigurement of Flesh), but you’d be hard pressed to spot them amid tracks like “Sickening Ground”, “For The Glory of Swarm” and “Embalming for Chrysalis”. All solid, arthropod themed bruisers that deliver ample moments of floor punching goodness and squealing blast beats, though the focus is certainly on the former, making for a solid debut album.
