Cadaver Mutilator
Murder Death Kill

Cadaver Mutilator is a brutal death metal band, from Italy and this is their debut album.  One thing is for certain Italy is becoming the hotbed for ultra brutal death metal, these days.  Many of the bands going for the jugular in their approach to music and if you’re a fan of bands, like Putridity, Logic of Denial, Hideous Divinity etc… from this particular region than Cadaver Mutilator are for you.  The album was mastered at Hertz studios and this album benefits from an extremely heavy bottom end and amazing guitar sound.  Are they the most original?, well not really, but I’m not looking for that all the time.  The Italian brutal death metal bands right now are all sporting killer bass players with bass twangs coming in and out and smacking you upside the head and that continues on Murder Death Kill. Amazing sound and just shows this band has some talented musicians in their ranks.

Special mention goes out to “Autopsy of Human Mind”.  Yes forgive the grammatical errors; English is not the band’s main language.  This song encompasses the best parts of the band.  At times the song is similar to Origin with the drummer going balls to the wall with the gravity blasts.  Pig vomit styled guttural vocals are incorporated during the track, as well as other parts of the album.  The 2.30 part features a really killer breakdown with outstanding double bass sounding really powerful.

The album cover is Sopranos inspired with I guess the mob boss taking center stage as his minions are taking care of some double crossers.  It’s not the best artwork I’ve seen, but it certainly goes along with the Murder Death Kill album name.  However they should have realized this album name was already taken from Canadian thrashers, Mortillery’s debut 2011 album.  At the end of the day there are enough memorable riffs on this album to clearly make this a repeat listen again and again for me.  Killer stuff.

JESUSARMY-no s==t, I know, I just listed Mortillery, since they’re one of my favorite thrash bands. But sometimes, bands from different countries don’t have access to alot of other music…I don’t know, again notan original album name, but the album is pretty killer, still. Hey the album name is alot better than the album cover drawing, at least. thx for reading!\m/
