“Darker Handcraft” Set for Release March 1st on Vinyl and March 15th on CD and Digital
TRAP THEM have premiered the first track from their upcoming album, and Prosthetic debut, “Darker Handcraft.” The track, “The Facts,” is available now exclusively at Brooklyn Vegan. Highly, highly recommended.” The band recorded the album at Godcity Studio with Kurt Ballou (Converge, Disfear, Black Breath). TRAP THEM are playing two free Scion Metal Matinee shows this weekend, in Chicago and Los Angeles. TRAP THEM’s sound combines elements of old school Swedish death metal, punk, and d-beat and takes influence from bands such as Entombed, Black Flag, Nasum and Tragedy. The band has toured with the likes of Napalm Death, Disfear, Skeletonwitch, Victims, Rotten Sound, Toxic Holocaust and Every Time I Die, among others, and played the Scion Rock Fest, Maryland Deathfest and the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. The band has previously released two full-lengths and several 7-inches and EPs between Southern Lord, Deathwish Inc and Trash Art.
