Creature Feature
The Greatest Show Unearthed

Remember when Marylin Manson covered “This Is Halloween” from The Nightmare Before Christmas? Ok, blend that with the theme from The Munsters and you can envision every song from Creature Feature’s The Greatest Show Unearthed.

I was tempted to end my review there. That is truly the best way to describe this album. The songs are horror-themed (surprise) and carry an air of fun, ghoulish camp. Honestly, it would be great Halloween Party music. It’s not very heavy, though guitars are present, and the high school Goth kids would eat it up like skull-shaped Gummi Bears. “Bound And Gagged”, “Aim For The Head” and “Buried Alive” all sound like Cannibal Corpse song titles, but this is pure, campy fun for the Hot Topic crowd.

That’s it.

ha ha this band is the one Sumerian signing I’ll never understand. They just stick out like a sore thumb next to the rest of their roster

Hahahaha excellent review, Shawn. That’s it.
