3XM doesn’t waste any time bullshitting and gets right down to business hacking up bodies and pissing on corpses on this now cult gore-grind platter, a blood-soaked splatter-fest that features more porn references than the back room of your local video store and enough psychotically-motivated violence that this band would have been banned damn near everywhere twenty years ago.Scott Hull mastered this grinding gut-blaster, bringing the intensity of the band’s graphically demented musical presence to the fore. Indeed, the duo of Michael Yale and Anthony West are Class-A, ready for Bellevue sickos, as evidenced by crafty yet criminally grotesque song titles such as “Desperately Craving Anal Attention,” “A Knife Called Pussylicker,” and “Fist-fuck Death Grip” make ever-so-brutally clear. When you hear the blatantly mentally-ill sonic blasts and barrages that accompany such titles, you’ll likely come to the conclusion that Yale and West weren’t afforded many hugs during their childhood and their likely playthings were probably blood-splattered Cabbage Patch Kids as opposed to Care Bears.

Doubtful as it is that the masses will ever completely latch on to such extreme, derranged music, 3XM have a particularly disturbing grind classic on their hands with this release, which most grind insiders were already sliming to well over a year ago. If you’ve managed to evade this splatter-fest thus far and you take bubble baths to Carcass and Impetigo records, do yourself a favor and become XXX Maniak’s next victim.
